Basic Security Awareness and Device Security Courses

Equip your workforce with practical, real-world skills to prevent today’s most common cyber threats while supporting annual security awareness requirements under frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, and PCI DSS. Through short, engaging lessons, workforce members learn how to recognize phishing, create strong passwords, enable MFA, secure their browsers, avoid shadow IT risks, and properly configure and protect their work devices. Designed for small to mid-sized organizations in regulated industries, these courses help your workforce build foundational security habits and secure endpoints, reducing human error and strengthening your overall security posture.

HIPAA Basics Training Courses

Our HIPAA training courses provide foundational, role-appropriate training on core HIPAA requirements for Covered Entities and Business Associates, without the legal fog. Designed to support workforce compliance with the Privacy, Security, and Breach Notification Rules, these courses cover essential concepts such as PHI identification, the Minimum Necessary standard, administrative, physical, and technical security requirements, and breach reporting responsibilities. Each serves as a strong baseline training component within a broader, risk-based compliance program. We offer distinct HIPAA training paths for Covered Entities and Business Associates, allowing your organization to select the course aligned with its specific regulatory role and responsibilities.

Rachel Petillo

Rachel Petillo is on our content creation team who helps create the videos for Quirktree's courses. She believes that the information we deal with every day is quite boring. That being said, the information is incredibly important. She wants to find more ways to help make this topic a little more entertaining and digestible. What good does training do if you're so painfully bored that you don’t retain it? Rachel studied Film and Video Production at Oklahoma City Community College and was placed on the President’s Honor Roll for maintaining a 4.0 GPA. She left OCCC right at the end of her second year to work for film director Francis Ford Coppola at his winery in California. She assisted him for 2.5 years before returning back to Oklahoma where she briefly worked on local productions. Her experience helps push our videos a bit more towards the “entertaining” side of the spectrum and we aim to strike a balance between value and entertainment/retention. Rachel is currently studying the more technical side of what we do since joining our team 3 years ago.
